SITE DEVELOPMENT Business meets science: Garching is home to leading companies and institutions in the fields of high-tech and research and development. At the center is the GIESSEREI Garching as a cross-industry campus with a vision.

SCIENCE AND BUSINESS It all began in 1957, when the Technical University of Munich built a research reactor in the north of Garching. Almost simultaneously, the development of the Hochbrück industrial park began. 65 years later, it is one of the most renowned research locations in Germany.

URBAN BUILDING The Garching-Hochbrück industrial area has a history. For its future viability, the city of Garching motivates a sustainable upgrade of the entire area.

STRUCTURAL CHANGE In 1995, Garching-Hochbrück was connected to the Munich subway network. This was an important milestone on the way to today's location. Well-known DAX companies such as Swiss Life, the business campus, university and research institutions work side by side with the city of Garching towards one goal: The continued focus on future ecological and technological development.

SUPPLY Quality of stay as an aspect of a valuable infrastructure: In the future, many small, unique stores will open here. Responding to the needs of a growing community

ZEPPELINSTRASSE At the address of the former aluminum foundry, the GIESSEREI is more than just an attractive commercial property with excellent connections. The nearby Munich-North motorway junction connects Garching with the A8 in the direction of Augsburg-Stuttgart or Salzburg.

It's also possible without a car! The underground line 6 runs from Garching-Hochbrück to Munich Central Station, one of the most important transport hubs in Germany, in just 24 minutes. International travel starts at Franz Josef Strauss Airport, which is just under 30-minutes away by train. A bike rental station operated by the Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (Munich Transport Company) ensures that even short distances are covered.
